Monthly Theme: We Are Called to Belong

WELCOME BACK!

It’s hard to believe that this is my 49th back-to-school September (and my fourth at St Paul!) and I get excited each time! We have a number of new staff to St Paul and though we will miss old friends, I am very excited for you to meet the new staff and to learn and grow with them! On behalf of the staff, I  would like to extend my warmest welcome to the new families who have joined the St. Paul’s family and, welcome back all returning families to the 2019 – 2020 school year.  We are all excited to see you and to continue our learning together. I hope that you have had a restful and wonderful summer with time spent with family and friends. This new school year will continue to build on the many positive aspects at St. Paul School in order to provide the best Catholic education for our students.

September brings another school year filled with engaging learning opportunities in and out of the classroom, and community building activities for our students.  We are excited to work with you and your children this year, and our wish is to work cooperatively together so that we ensure the best interests of our children always remain first and foremost.  If you have a concern, please do not hesitate to let us know. Early and ongoing communication can help us deal with problems before they become serious.

Please visit our website regularly for information concerning the school, and sign up for our electronic newsletters at https://stpaul.wcdsb.ca. Also, follow us on the St Paul Twitter account, @wcdsbStPaul.

We are very fortunate to work with the staff of St. Francis Parish. This relationship allows our students to connect directly with the Church and our faith. We are looking forward to working under the guidance and direction of Father Tim Uniac, Father Raphael  Ma as our pastors, and Ruthann Fischer as our parish minister. Our students at St. Paul School will have many opportunities to realize their full potential to transform God’s world.

In order to “nurture hope in every learner” and ensure “success for each and place for all”, we strive to be a safe and inclusive school where we protect the dignity of all individuals.  We look forward to supporting our staff, students, and families this new school year. Our wishes and prayers are with everyone this year, as we continue to live our motto “Together We Can Make a Difference”.
