The Umbrella Project: Integrity
Click Umbrella Skills Home Contest to learn more about our contest – How are you using the Umbrella Skills at home? More information will be sent home this week with your children
We continue to explore the Umbrella themes each month and students are starting to build their own personal umbrellas – being able to use various strategies to help them deal with struggles they may face in their lives. Throughout the month of May, we will be exploring the theme of Integrity. Take a minute to read the attached article that can be found at the link below. It has some great activities for your children around Integrity.
Students from Colombia
We had the pleasure of welcoming some international students from Colombia this week. Five grade 5/6 students from the Montessori School have joined us at St. Paul. All students are learning from each other and expanding their horizons due to this amazing adventure. Make sure to say hi if you have the pleasure of coming into contact with any of our international visitors!
Please take some time to review our Dress code with your children to ensure it is being followed.
You are reminded that when your child is absent from school we require that a parent/ legal guardian contact the office to let us know prior to the start of the school day. We cannot accept messages sent in through siblings or friends.
Biking to school?
Please ensure that your children are wearing helmets if they are riding their bikes to school – it is the law. Students are also reminded that they are not to ride bikes, scooters or skateboards on school property. Once they arrive at school students are to get off and walk to ensure all remain safe.
Jump Rope for Heart
We had a fantastic Jump Rope for Heart day! Thanks to all the students (and families) who helped fundraise! You can continue to pledge funds using the link found on this page: Jump rope for heart.jpg

Please try to ensure that students are present during their assessment times.
